Guidelines For Your Safety

  1. Notify the Caretaker of your schedules and plans so we can be aware of your location in case of any emergency.
  2. Always keep cell phone provided for your use in case of any emergency. Keep it charged.
  3. Be AWARE of your surroundings. You are in the beautiful Mountainous Jungle of Belize which means you never know what nature brings. Check between cushions, verandah couches, and hammocks before sitting or laying down for unwanted critters.
  4. Solar outdoor automatic lights are installed throughout the property
  5. Surveillance cameras are active on the property.
  6. Kindly lock your vehicle before you settle into bed.
  7. TURN OFF the gas tank when the stove is not in use for fire safety, especially if you have minors within your family.  TURN OFF the valve located in the cabinet under the stove.
  8. Do not turn off the main gas tank outside as it powers the generator.
  9. Safety box provided for your use.
  10. Be cautious walking on the front stairs and handicap ramp exiting the bedroom.
  11. Spotlight provided.
  12. Make sure BBQ grill fire is completely defused after use.

First Aid Kit

A well-equipped first aid kit is essential for handling minor injuries and emergencies.  Here’s a list of items included for safety:

  1. Adhesive bandages in various sizes for covering small cuts and abrasions.
  2. Sterile gauze pads and adhesive tape for dressing larger wounds.
  3. Antiseptic wipes or solution for cleaning wounds to prevent infection.
  4. Antibacterial ointment to apply on cuts and scrapes.
  5. Tweezers for removing splinters or debris from wounds.
  6. Scissors for cutting tape or gauze.
  7. Disposable gloves to maintain hygiene while treating injuries.
  8. Elastic bandages for wrapping sprains or strains.
  9. Pain relievers such as Tylenol and allergy pills.
  10. A list of emergency contact numbers including local emergency services.

Remember to notify us to replace any used or expired items.
